Hilary really is ‘Mama Arts Hub’ not only because she is Danielle’s lovely Mummy, but she is always on hand for our students and staff no matter what is needed (a tissue, a cuddle, a cuppa, a yummy cake or a handy plaster)!
Hilary has always had a passion for the Arts and this is truly where Danielle got her bug for all things performance – singing and dancing were an permanent feature in our home and if it wasn’t for Hilary’s enthusiasm and willingness to drive Danielle to dance, music and drama classes nightly, Danielle wouldn’t be where she is today! Hilary is a keen singer and sings with The Arts Hub Community Choir and St Mary’s Church Choir. Hilary is also a keen musician and plays Classical Guitar and is an active yoga practitioner!
A former Nurse, Hilary brings a wealth of medical and pastoral experience to The Arts Hub, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. Since moving to the Isle of Man, Hilary worked as a Level 3 Senior Educational Support Assistant at Scoill Phurt le Moirrey and Ballakermeen High School, working specifically with children with Special Educational Needs. During her time at Ballakermeen, Hilary wrote and directed many productions for the students she worked with, offering performance opportunities that all students could access!
