TEACHER

SALLY-ANNE WILSON

The Arts Hub is such a fabulous school, offering wonderful performance opportunities and I’m delighted to be part of the teaching team.

BIOGRAPHY

Sally-Anne has loved performing from a young age and, growing up on the island, took advantage of the many music, dance and drama opportunities that island life had to offer.  Sally-Anne gained her degree in Performing Arts (Music) at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where she specialised in singing. She then went on to complete a Masters in Acting at the Arts Educational Schools in London.

Sally-Anne gained her PGCE in 2014 and began teaching in primary schools, where she had the joy of being responsible for leading music and running school choirs. Alongside this, Sally-Anne attended Vocology in Practice’s ‘Be a Singing Teacher’ course – an internationally recognised training program for singing teachers – to further specialise as a voice teacher and taught in various Performing Arts settings in the UK.

Sally-Anne performs regularly as a singer and returned to the island with her young family a few years ago, where she taught in local primary schools, before launching her own Singing Studio in September 2021.
